Brief Itinerary for Himalayan 100 KM Stage Race

November 08, 2024 (Friday) – MIRIK

Trip starts with arrival at Bagdogra airport and transfer to Mirik, located near Darjeeling.
All meals included until trip ends at Bagdogra.
Overnight at Mirik Lake Resort.

November 09, 2024 (Saturday) – MIRIK

Day trip to Darjeeling. Visit Himalayan museum and market. Ride famous Toy Train.
Overnight at Mirik Lake Resort.

November 10, 2024 (Sunday) – SANDAKPHU (11815 ft)

The Himalayan 100 K Stage Race starts at Maneybhanjang (6600 ft). Participants will run till Gairibas (22 km) only. From Gairibas a supporting jeep ride to Sandakphu. Aid station and jeep support for 36 km. Non-runners walk 16km. Overnight at Sandakphu.

November 11, 2024 (Monday) – SANDAKPHU (11815 ft)

Views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, & Kanchenjunga all day. Trails out to Chandu Lake & back. Total 16 km. Non-runners optionally walk 8 km. overnight at Sandakphu.

November 12, 2024 (Tuesday) – RIMBIK (6350 ft)

Views of peaks and jungle. Route: Jeep ride till Chandu Lake only. Running from Chandu Lake- Molle Turn (on 100 mile trail, but have to follow the downhill route towards Molle Hut) – Rimbik 22 km. Non-runners walk 16 km. Overnight at Sherpa & Tenzing Lodge.

November 13, 2024 (Wednesday) – PALMAJUA (6560 ft)

Follow rural road 21 km to Palmajua. Bus brings back to Rimbik. Non-runners visit monastery & villages. Sherpa & Tenzing Lodges.

November 14, 2024 (Thursday) – MIRIK (5500 ft)

100 K participants will be dropped at Dhotre to finish at Maneybhanjang 19 km. Non-runners walk 8-16 km. Bus drive to Mirik Resort. Awards, dinner.

November 15, 2024 (Friday) – TRIP ENDS

Transfer to Bagdogra Airport. Trip Ends.

Stage Race (8 days trip) Includes shared accommodation at Mirik Lake Resort, mountain huts at Sandakphu, lodges at Rimbik, all meals, transportation, aid stations, guides, porters, full race support, and Bagdogra Airport transfers.

Early Arrival Option at Mirik Lake Resort is available at an extra cost. Includes accommodation, meals, lodging, guided sightseeing, airport transfer. Early arrival allows extra time to acclimatize, recover from jet lag, visiting tea estates, monasteries and shopping markets.
