EXPLORE INDIA AT YOUR OWN PACE

Welcome to India, wonderful land which met expectations of every type of a tourist, an enchanting destination to travelers around the globe proved for thousands of years ago, geographical and climatic variance, cultural heritage of thousands of years, many religions, peculiar customs and traditions, linguistic barriers at one platform.

HIMALAYAN RUN & TREK PVT. LTD., an unmatched tour agency in India with International Standard. It is a team lead by C.S.Pandey a veteran mountaineer and adventurer who promotes all aspects of tourism and has been specializing in adventure sports and wildlife tours since 1980. We are the only team of professionals in Asia to introduce a new concept for adventure tourism by operating international high altitude multiday stage races annually on Indian Himalayas.

During May’ 98, we have organized (Indo-British) the first and unique trek between Badrinath and Kedarnath in Central Himalaya. The main purpose of this expedition was to retrace the steps of high priest who was holding services in both the Kedarnath and Badrinath temples on the same day, through shortest known route between was 40 miles over high mountain passes and through the extremely deep Kedarnath valley. Inspired to this legend tells, in 1934 Mr. Eric Shipton and Mr. Tillman have tried this route during monsoon.

ADVENTURE HOLIDAY: India has an immense variety of outdoor thrills. Trekking over mountainous passes, skiing down smooth snowy slopes, riding the waves of the see on a wind surfer – or a horse in the desert, be it river rafting or trout fishing, India has some of the best and at incredible prices.

WILDLIFE: The Indian forests teem with a wildlife of a varied species. Most forests are protected national parks, providing sanctuary to several special or endangered species of animals and in some cases to migratory birds.

CULTURAL TOURS: Golden Triangle, Delhi – Agra and Jaipur, the three historic destinations provide a cultural taste of India that awaits discovery. Agra – it is not a surprise if your heart fills with emotions by the romantic view of TAJ MAHAL. The little stones rolling under your feet were able to speak they would narrate you an immortal Love Story. The view of the Taj Mahal on the silver light of full moon night will take you in a fantasy.

Romantic Rajasthan, the land of vibrant colours leaves the traveller with golden memories of palaces, deserts, lakes, pulsating beats with prompts a desire to come again. A journey on dusty tracks… setting sun on golden sand… colourfully attired women with the pitchers on their heads… tinkling their anklets… chivalry and romance. While crossing the sand dunes of vast Thar you can enjoy the myth and legend of the region.

CLASSIC INDIA: The ancient temples of Khajuraho, Mamallapuram, Puri etc… are exceptional in architectural skills that would reveal the way of life of the contemporary age. Tourist who visit India always ask a question, can’t they be provided with a stopover at Bombay as they can miss anything but, Elephanta Caves. The wonderful destinations in South India, known as ‘Peninsular India’ will give an opportunity to step into the Pre-Aryan culture. The extensive network of canals filled with backwaters and lakes make Kerala unique in its kind.

FAIRS & FESTIVALS: Nobody has counted the total number of fairs and festivals celebrated all through the country, but a rough estimate of 365 a year would not be wide off the mark!
